One night ,while she was returning home, she saw Royce (her fiance) who was drunk wating for her with four other friends. Royce bragged Rosalie's beauty in a nasty way first he ripped her jacket just to show part of her body to his friends, also snatched her hat making her scream in pain because it was tied with needles that scream made men enjoy her pain. While she was waiting for death to come Carlisle found her and transformed her into a vampire.
